Portugal Property was founded by an engineer who spent fifteen years navigating the gap between what international buyers need and what the Portuguese market delivers. Having led acquisition due diligence, drawn planning applications through municipal authorities, managed structural engineering projects, and overseen full-scale renovations from foundation to finish — the recurring problem was always the same: no single entity owned the outcome.

Estate agents optimise for the sale. Lawyers optimise for compliance. Architects optimise for design. Contractors optimise for margin. The investor is left coordinating five or six independent parties across language barriers, time zones, and competing incentives — with no single point of accountability when things stall.

We coordinate all due diligence: legal, fiscal, structural, and municipal. Planning applications, architectural briefs, and engineering specifications are prepared and submitted under our management.
